Pool Checks:
If you are lucky enough to have a pool of your own at your property then regular checks on the pool are essential.
Is everything running as it should, have the valves been changed by a guest, is the heater on? should it be? or is the the water level correctare just a few of the things we will check for you. We are not your pool service company but equally we will note if it seems they may not have been
Water System:
Stagnant water breeds bacteria, should you property be empty for any extended time we will run the taps regularly, flush the toilets and ensure all of the visible pipework is free from leaks (under sinks etc).
Fences etc:
Why have fences and gates if they aren’t secure? A visual check of fences and gates for condition, damage or just being closed, locked or even unlocked as they should be.
Security:
Ensuring your property is secure when it needs to be is vital, as is ensuring guests can gain access. We will check the security of your property on our visit. This includes windows being closed and locked, doors locking and unlocking and, if you use a lockbox, occasional changing of Security codes as per your request. We also provide keyholder duties for response to alarms and security situations as needed and the occasional guest is going to lock themselves out.
Lawns:
Whilst we may not cut the lawns for you, ensuring they are being cut and the grounds maintained is vital to the reputation of your vacation rental. We will note this, condition of the gardens, trees and anything that may need attention. We can of course have our excellent team perform your regular lawn maintenance.
Mail:
We offer occasional or regular mail checks when we visit, and also delivery of your mail to our mailbox postal address. We can offer forwarding of important mail to your home address.
Supplies:
Keeping your property supplied correctly is essential to guest satisfaction. We keep a stock of supplies, or if you have particular items you wish to supply, we can source them, or take delivery should you decide to source them yourself.
Cleaning:
Post rental cleaning and readiness for the next guest is essential. Our contractors provide an excellent service and we back their work 100%. They clean for our own rentals, so we know their work and standards.
This is a selection of the checks we suggest are done but will of course change according to the need of the customer. As well as ensuring you we have done it, we send you an email report to confirm we have done what we say we will, and note any items needing attention with images where necessary.
